This position requires a high level of enthusiasm and experience with pet care, an ability to work well in a team environment, and an intuitive understanding of animal behavior.
The Pet Groomer has frequent contact with the public, so it is important that the successful candidate be able to communicate effectively, to interact well with pet owners, and to remain calm when faced with stressful situations.
Responsibilities:
Groom pets in a grooming salon.
Groom pets on location.
Must be comfortable working with dogs.
Assist with bathing, brushing and trimming pets as needed.
Follow animal health regulations as set by the American Association of Animal Hospitals.
