o Advises customer of problem areas and recommend repair solutions, gain customer approval, and order appropriate parts to repair equipment promptlyo Prepares machine for service work utilizing proper safety procedures (locks, blocking, lock-out procedures) to avoid injuryo Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions and failureso Disassembles and assembles machine components to manufacturer's specifications through the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and any specialized toolingo Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and componentso Maintains good customer relations and support; communicates customer needs to shop managemento Plans and controls cost of repair jobso Completes parts orders and identifies parts for returno Maintains company equipment - keeps it in good, clean, and orderly conditiono Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardso Works overtime as required by workload and customers' needso Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; e.
